We have a current opening in our Loan Servicing Department for a Commercial Loan Servicing Quality Control Specialist. Summary: Reporting directly to the Commercial Loan Servicing Manager, this position is responsible for a variety of administrative loan servicing functions including but not limited to quality control, reconciliation, and preparation of managerial reports while working in compliance with Bank policies and procedures. Responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned as dictated by business need:Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to the Bank's ongoing mission, vision, and core values. Performs quality control of all commercial loans boarded to the core; including verification of flood and hazard Insurance tracking.Performs quality control of all loan and credit file maintenance.Performs overall commercial quality control duties including by not limited to reviewing closed loan files for quality control purposes.Responsible for verification of timely and accurate processing of all payments, advances, and other system maintenance; responsible for ensuring the general ledgers are balanced as required.Required to perform monthly GL reconcilements.Responsible for analyzing existing processes to identify areas for operational efficiency using technology and automation.Responsible to prepare commercial servicing monthly/quarterly reporting.Monitors flood insurance and tax activities and related documentation. Works closely with auditors and regulators preparing and presenting documents as requested. Quality control and monitoring of all Commercial Legal and Credit Files scanned.Demonstrates understanding and compliance with Bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory guidelines as applicable to the position. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent in addition to a minimum of 5+ years experience in a professional office environment, preferably within a commercial lending-related function (i.e. banking/financial services, attorney, or real estate broker). Ability to work successfully with deadlines and time constraints, ability to learn basics of the Bank's products and services including loan products, self-motivation, and decision-making skills required. Working knowledge of general banking and lending concepts and principles in addition to experience with and understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
