Job Description:

We are hiring a Commercial Loan Servicing Supervisor to oversee the commercial loan servicing process and assist the Loan Servicing Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department. The Supervisor will oversee the Senior Commercial Loan Specialist and Loan Servicing QC Specialist. The Supervisor will also be responsible for handling the more complex loans, specifically SWAP and Banc Alliance.
Commercial Loan Team Support:

Compares approval documents and commitment letter to note and set up in Core system to ensure accuracy.
Assists in problem solving any of the more complex issues within the Commercial Lending Department with the guidance and assistance of the senior Commercial Lending staff.
Assists and provides back-up support to other commercial operations staff with processing and booking various types of installment loans, lines of credit and payoffs.
Disburses funds and maintains records for commercial construction loans based upon approval process.
Manage and track monthly SWAP fees and ensure they are booked to the appropriate GL account in Horizon.
Performs general administrative and clerical support tasks
Assists in ordering and maintaining inventory of department office supplies.
Assists with monitoring and supervising overall commercial loan quality control.
Reviews closed loan files for quality control purposes
Works closely with auditors and regulators preparing and presenting documents as requested.
Serves as a resource and/or backup for Commercial Servicing Representatives as needed.
Prepare collateral discharges and/or monitor flood insurance and tax activities and related documentation, as needed.

Customer Support:

Responds to customer inquiries or inquiries from other areas of the bank relative to questions, concerns, or problems, ensuring the highest degree of customer service and problem resolution.
Performs a variety of customer service and loan servicing functions.


High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 10 or more years in a professional office environment, preferably within a commercial lending related function (i.e. banking/financial services, attorney or real estate broker)
Detail orientation, ability to work successfully with deadlines and time constraints, ability to learn basics of the Bank's products and services including loan products, self-motivation and decision-making skills required.
Working knowledge of general banking and lending concepts and principals in addition to experience with and understanding of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Professional demeanor and professional maturity required for working closely with customers, employees, vendors, and members of the Board of Directors.
