Job Title: Accounting AdministratorJob Location: -Newburyport,
MA, 01950Job Duration: Open Ended Contract -General SummarySupports
the Finance/Accounting department in day-to-day operations
including accounts payable, cash applications, accounts receivable,
general accounting, employee expense reimbursement, purchasing and
collections.Responsibilities -
- Enters transactions accurately into the enterprise resource
planning (ERP) system. -
- Completes daily, monthly and quarterly postings and control
proofs on time. -
- Maintains up to date SOPs for key tasks and responsibilities.

- Prepares reports and reconciliations as assigned -
- Makes and documents A/R collection calls and contacts as
assigned -
- Files all supporting documents in the respective manner -
- Conducts AP and A/R transaction analyses and invoice reviews

- Pulls original documentation as requested for both internal and
external audits. -
- Follows all Clients internal accounting controls. -
- Communicates appropriately with vendors, suppliers, customers
and global Client employees. -OTHER DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESProvides back-up for other day to day accounting
operations as assigned by the Mgr, Accounting Operations.Promptly
reports data integrity or internal control violations to the Mgr,
Accounting Operations.Performs other duties, as

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities -
- Associate degree in accounting or business preferred. -
- Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable, accounts payable cash
applications or general bookkeeping experience. -
- Math, Bookkeeping, PC (Excel and Word) skills required -
- Communication and good telephone etiquette -
- Must have the ability to analyze transactions, identify issues,
develop, and implement solutions -
- Excellent organization skills and ability to handle numerous
distractions and interruptions -
- Attention to Detail high level of data accuracy and ownership
of transactional results. -Qualifications: -
- Associate degree in accounting or business required, Bachelors'
degree preferred -
- Minimum five (5) years of accounts receivable, accounts payable
cash applications or general accounting experience -
- Strong time management skills. -
- Attention to Detail high level of data accuracy and ownership
of transactional results. -
- Customer service oriented. -
- High level of confidentiality and integrity. -
- Understanding of importance of internal controls -
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all facets - -Desired
Skills: Epicor ERP system experience preferred. -
