Specialist is responsible for performing and assisting in all
activities of the Bank's Digital Banking Operations including, but
not limited to, taking customer calls, online/mobile banking access
implementation, as well as troubleshooting and training of internal
and external customers on the functionality of the online
platforms. This position also reviews and takes action on all NCR
releases, reporting and monitoring of accounts, and assists the
Service Center department as needed. Operational Effectiveness: -
Provides hands-on assistance for all Digital Banking/Service Center
functions as needed. - Researches and resolves customer issues
thoroughly and within a timely manner. Follows up with appropriate
parties. - Works exception items and fraud suspects. - Monitors
reports as assigned and on an ongoing basis. Verifies transactions
appropriately. - Performs post-onboarding reviews with customers to
ensure expectations are met and users are satisfied with the online
services. - Works with other Bank employees to resolve customer
requests and discrepancies related to Digital Banking Operations. -
Assists in preparation and research pertaining to auditing,
examinations, and monitoring requests. - Leads projects as assigned
by VP, Service Center & Digital Banking Manager. - Assists
customers on various platforms offered by Newburyport Bank,
including, but not limited to, online and mobile banking, Bill Pay,
remote deposit capture, mobile deposit, ACH transfers, Zelle
transfers, debit cards, Business online Banking, Customer Service
Tool (CST), and EFT. - Provides high-level support for the Beb
(Business online banking) customers. - Works with customers to
uncover needs related to online financial tools and resources, as
well as develops customized approaches for each
person/company/organization. Ensures delivery of products/services
is completed within agreed upon timeframe
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 3 years of experience in Digital
Banking. - Experience with Digital Banking, banking, NCR (DI),
Ensenta, Zelle - (FIS), Compass, E-Statements, CST, Payments One,
FIS and SavvyMoney is preferred. - Familiarity with Zelle Network
Participation and Fraud Rules is helpful. - Knowledge of Bank
Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC rules, NACHA procedures and deposit
regulations, including specifically Regulations CC, DD (TIS), and E
is helpful. - Excellent organizational, written, and verbal
communication skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical
skills. - Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and
Outlook). - Ability to work effectively both independently and as a
team member. - Professional demeanor and professional maturity
required for working closely with customers, employees, and
vendors. Physical Requirements - Prolonged periods of sitting at a
desk and working on a computer. - Must be able to lift up to 15
