Job Description:

SUMMARYPresents a professional image to visitors of the Credit Union's corporate headquarters facility. Welcomes guests on the first floor reception area in a prompt and courteous manner; serves as an information source to visitors. Provides administrative support to various departments under the direction of the Assistant Vice President - Human Resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets and directs office visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Solicits nature of business from guests and notifies appropriate personnel; maintains visitor log.
  • Maintains a pristine work area that is organized and free of clutter.
  • Sorts and delivers mail to select departments; tracks incoming packages and notifies appropriate recipient(s).
  • Provides general administrative support as needed to various departments.
  • Assists with and supports various special projects.
  • Arranges lunches and may prepare room for corporate events including on-site training activities.
  • May serve as back-up to Commercial and Real Estate Lending Administrative Assistant.
  • Performs related and unrelated duties as may be assigned and therefore required.*QUALIFICATIONS*The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     • Accountability - the individual is self-motivated, will take initiative, and perform work with set direction; be able to manage, organize and prioritize work to ensure its completion in a timely manner, that deadlines are adhered to, and department productivity is maintained.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 6 months related experience and/or training. Basic knowledge of Credit Union services and various departmental operations preferred.*LANGUAGE SKILLS*Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively communicate information to vendors and other employees of the Credit Union. Ability to write simple correspondence.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.*COMPUTER SKILLS*Must have a basic understanding of computers and applications including Microsoft Word & Excel.*PHYSICAL DEMANDS*While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and hear; employee will regularly stand, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
