highly regarded school district in Waltham, MA, is seeking a
Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to support its Elementary
Autism Program. This role is perfect for an SLP who enjoys small
caseloads, structured settings, and working collaboratively within
a strong team in a district known for excellence. Position Overview
The SLP will provide speech and language services to students
within the elementary Autism program, supporting communication,
social skills, and functional language development. With a smaller
caseload and flexible scheduling, this is a great opportunity for
clinicians seeking part-time school-based work. Responsibilities
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
in the PreK–5 Autism program. Conduct assessments and complete
evaluation reports and progress notes. Develop IEP goals and
participate in meetings as needed. Collaborate closely with special
education teachers, ABA staff, and related service providers.
Support communication systems including AAC, visual supports, and
structured routines. Maintain compliance with district and state
documentation requirements. Caseload & Work Environment Smaller
caseload focused entirely within the Elementary Autism Program.
Students present with autism spectrum needs, ranging from mild to
moderate. Flexible choice of days (2 days per week). Dedicated or
shared office space (district to confirm). Very supportive and
highly regarded school environment. Qualifications Active
Massachusetts SLP license (mass.gov licensure). DESE (Department of
Elementary and Secondary Education) SLP licensure. Master’s degree
in Speech-Language Pathology. Experience with autism support
programs or AAC is preferred but not required. Why AnthroMed for
