Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available immediately in Windsor, VT, specializing in high school
students with unique learning needs. This is a contracted role with
the potential for renewal, offering an enriching opportunity to
work closely with a small group of approximately five students,
each supported by a dedicated 1:1 paraprofessional. Key
responsibilities include delivering tailored instruction during the
first half of the day within the school environment, focusing on
academic and social growth. The second half of the day involves
accompanying students into the community, providing hands-on
support as they navigate and develop job skills in real-world
settings. This combination of in-school teaching and
community-based activities allows for a holistic approach to
special education, emphasizing both learning and practical
independence. Qualifications and desired experience: Certified
Special Education Teacher credential Experience with preschool,
Pre-K, or high school special education settings Ability to work
effectively alongside paraprofessionals and support staff Strong
communication and collaboration skills Passion for community
integration and vocational training for students with disabilities
