Job Description:

Overview:The main responsibility of the Service Technician will be to perform maintenance and repair on customers'solar systems. They will need to do routine checks on systems to make sure they are running properly.Responsibilities:Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The primary job functions will be driving a company vehicle to customers homes to repair / perform maintenance on the solar system.
• Perform Diagnostics
• Use laptop to perform software updates to systems onsite or remotely
• Complete reports and send emails to confirm status of repairs
• Perform routine maintenance
  • Other responsibilities assigned by supervisorQualifications:
    • High School Diploma, GED or associates degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) or equivalent work experienceYEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
      • Solar experience as a lead installer or maintenance technician is requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS of POSITION:The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch, and talk or hear. The employee may be required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds. This employee must be okay with looking at a computer screen for a long period of time.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
        • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
        • Strong analytical abilities
        • Ability to work the schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM
        • Driver's License and clean driving record
          • Previous solar experience preferred, not required
