SUMMARYElectrical Engineer for a robotic laboratory automation
system. Responsibilities include power distribution, EMC, sensor,
and servo integration.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
- Maintain and enhance an automated system including servo motors
and many different types of sensors.
- Evaluate electrical issues and design opportunities.
- Take responsibility for EMC, especially ESD immunity.
- Develop, test and document design changes to improve
reliability and reduce cost.
- Ensure compatibility with IEC 61010 and other applicable
standards.OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up and troubleshooting
- Component evaluation and selectionPREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- BSEE
- 3+ years' experience
- Understanding of automation systems including servo motors and
sensors
- Able to collaborate effectively with other engineering
