Now hiring a Staff Hardware Engineer in Lowell, MA!Trillium Technical has a direct hire opportunity for a Staff Hardware Engineer in Lowell, MA. This position offers a hybrid working environment. No sponsorship is provided at this time.

As a member of our clients Passive Optical Networks' Hardware Engineering team, you will be instrumental in delivering PON products to market. You will work within a multi-disciplined hardware engineering team to develop, test, and support hardware solutions from concept to production and beyond. This role works on digital circuit design, schematic development, hardware design verification, and support of product testing and debug in a lab environment with test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and traffic generators. Using your strong written and oral communication skills, you will generate test reports for validation of the product. You will also support product integration into the factory, from prototype to production, working with multi-functional team members like Manufacturing Test, Supply Chain, and Customer Support.

Preferred Qualifications:

---Understanding of Photonics and Optics
---Experience with embedded systems and communications protocols/interfaces like I2C, SPI, MDIO, UART, USB
