***Role open to applicants anywhere in the US*****Job Description**Lead the spend and category management analytics for the global indirect procurement team from within the indirect procurement Center of Excellence. In this position, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership for Data & Analytics across the indirect global procurement function to enable an outcome and data driven decision-making culture trusted by the business and supported by accurate, relevant and timely procurement data (internal and external), and action-orientated insights and analytics. You will manage a team of offshore analysts, and lead spend cleansing, category management analytics, and spend analytics.**Key Responsibilities**+ Lead the data & analytics digital transformation program across global procurement, managing the existing framework to support data-driven decision making+ Responsible for all end-to-end Procurement data and reporting for all Procurement performance indicators, from extraction and data transformation/enrichment to visualization in dashboards and advanced analysis tools+ Support the vision and multi-year roadmap for Procurement's Center of Excellence team, working closely with each category area to define use cases, then prioritizing and executing the uses cases that bring the biggest value to the business+ Deliver an insights & analytics service to procurement, building & prioritizing a pipeline of opportunities throughout the sourcing project lifecycle to improve the quality, efficiency, and results of procurement activities & to help maximize opportunities+ Oversee the Market Intelligence and Spend Analytics services to ensure advanced analytics, relevant insights & actions are provided to procurement using internal and external data+ Document rules and processes for business intelligence or IT reports, dashboards, change requests, projects, or other outputs.+ Maintain library of model documents, templates or other reusable knowledge+ Working in collaboration with executives and operational managers, translates the business needs into analytic and reporting strategies through the development, execution and resourcing of routine and project specific plans for analytics delivery.+ Analysis and interprets business data for multiple products, aligns with other departments and provides decision making on report results+ Decides on best business design to meet reporting needs for the organization. Works with IT to ensure correct understanding and implementation of these business needs.+ Implements new enhancements to BI, supporting additional insight into existing products and services; Ensures correct implementation from beginning to end.+ Educates & trains user community on the potential uses of the business intelligence system+ Provides customized ad-hoc reports as requested by management by extracting data from internal databases using SQL or using Business Intelligence tools.+ Summarizes data in business and financial terms for management, executives, vendors, and other stakeholders,+ Perform and adopt best practices in testing and reporting: usability, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.+ Provides Approvals/Denials for Finance of key company data+ Research and document potential data integrity issues through the use of SQL querying or Business Intelligence tools.**Functional and Technical Domain Knowledge**+ Understand the benefits of data warehousing, data architecture, data quality processes, fact and dimension tables, and data modelling+ Must have technical competency and experience of 12 to 15 years plus in Sourcing and+ Procurement Systems (Source to Pay), Spend and Category Management, Contract Management, Supplier Risk Analytics but not limited to:+ Cloud Procurement Platforms like Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, GEP, Jaeggar, etc. and+ Big Data platforms like Hadoop, Alteryx, Snowflake, etc.+ Data visualization Tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik sense, Looker etc.+ In addition to data analytics, ideally has experience in category management analytics where analysts would support category managers in the creation of category strategies, with input from various sources such as spend analytics and market research.+ Familiarity with Machine learning and programming Skills in SQL, Python and R and is well versed to work with unstructured data.+ Prefer exposure to relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or financial modelling methods that help with decision making and identify opportunities+ Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services**Leadership and Team building**+ Extensive experience in program management, including change management and executive communication experience in managing people directly or indirectly.+ Will lead analyst team, and may lead additional functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity+ Sustaining energy and well-being, building resilience in teams.
