Job Description:

The Materials Management Coordinator, Floor Based works under the general supervision of the Manager of Materials Management, is responsible for all supplies for Unit 2 and/or Unit 3 including the daily inventory assessment of the floor-based CSR, all "special order" supplies used by the floor and all office supplies needed for the day-to-day operation of the Unit. The individual will also performs duties related to the day-to-day functions of the department, including receiving of incoming deliveries and related documentation, delivery of received goods to the proper location, processing inventory requisitions and delivering inventory items as needed.The successful candidate will:* Conducts daily inventory assessment for the floor for both supplies in the CSR, "special-order" supplies and office supplies.* Uses the Materials Management Information System to transmit inventory orders to the Storeroom or Purchase Order Requests to the Buyer. Uses the office supply web portal to order necessary office supplies from the contracted vendor.* Ensures that each Isolation Cart has an adequate supply of exam gloves.* Re-stocks the room supply carts daily* Assesses "Ready to Use" formula needs.* Rotates stocks daily, removes and documents outdated supplies on a regular basis.* Works with nursing to assess Medication Room supplies needed for the administration of medications (non-pharmaceutical supplies).* Organizes and labels all supply areas so the supplies are clearly identifiable.* Works with Unit Nursing Leadership on supply needs, Par Levels and issue resolution.* Receives incoming deliveries and related documentation* Delivery of received goods to the proper location* Processes inventory requisitions* Delivers inventory items* Monitors inventories associated with Materials Management* Conducts regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory* Responsible for ensuring that items in the inventories are in acceptable condition, monitoring expiration dates.* Assists in the conducting of inventory integrity including but not limited to year-end inventory* Assists in setting and maintain par levels for inventory items* Participates in Lean education and Lean projects* Performs other duties as required* Weekend and holiday hours as required.Job Requirements:* Equivalent to graduation from high school* Experience in Health Care Materials Management preferred.* Excellent computer skills* Must be a team player* Excellent customer services skills* MediTech Materials Management experience is a plus* Lean experience is a plus.* Valid Massachusetts driver's license.* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.* Verbal and written communication skills with mathematical ability required.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 $19.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Tuition reimbursement* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:* Brighton, MA 02135: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:* Benefits administration: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
