United States Description & Qualifications DescriptionUnder
direction of the Chief Finance Officer, the Chief Procurement
Officer leads the day-to-day procurement for indirect strategic
sourcing and renewals, $1B in addressable spend. Also leads
procurement operations including supplier relationship management,
supplier diversity, enterprise travel, and software asset
management. The CPO will directly manage a team of senior reports
that support this global program.
Key Responsibilities:
? Establish and execute a strategy that creates advantage through
the procurement of goods and services
? Excels in strategic internal and external communications,
strategic planning and business strategy. Presents an
executive-level presence
? Maintains current knowledge of trends and developments in all
relevant fields under scope of authority and provides overall
leadership and vision for the direction of the department and
within the broad context of UKG's mission
? Leverage key metrics to identify problem areas and adopt current
and emerging business models with an entrepreneurial mindset and
creative approach to drive best practice
? Lead and coach a team responsible to strategically partner with
business unit leaders and contribute to client strategy by
providing procurement (travel, SAM) expertise and strategic
partnering for purchasing (other) opportunities
? Build and manage relationships with priority business executives,
serves as a key member of the business unit leadership team to
support implementation of business strategies through advanced
procurement initiatives and team alignment. Demonstrates a
strategic business mindset, organizational savvy
? Mentor staff in long-term strategic planning efforts for assigned
responsibilities including advanced multi-year strategies designed
to anticipate enterprise-wide requirements while optimizing shifts
in both markets, industry trends and supplier economic cycles
? Provide oversight and evaluate ethical procurement practices of
contracted goods and services which includes compliance with
corporate and departmental policies and procedures
? Hire, develop, motivate, and retain high performing staff.
Provide guidance on assigned activities and ensure follow-through
on assigned tasks and projects. Evaluate performance and provide
guidance and/or recognition
? Empower direct and indirect reports to achieve priorities and
expectations

time-sensitive solutions QualificationsMinimum:
? Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting,
Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or Industrial
Engineering
? 15 years' experience in a procurement role
? Proven experience with procurement transformation
? 7 years' strategic sourcing experience with expertise in
influencing business strategy and vendor relations
? 5 years' experience in management and leading cross divisional
teams
? Superior negotiation skills, developed through significant
corporate sourcing environment experience
? Strong influencing skills that can be used to lead teams and
build partnerships with internal resources
? Experience with Procure to Pay platform implementation and
ongoing management
Preferred:
? Master's or post-graduate degree from an accredited four-year
college or university
? Certification in or equivalent training in Certified Purchasing
Manager (CPM)
? Project planning and management experience
? Prior experience managing diverse stakeholder interests and
