• Defining and documenting the requirements for the Experian Consumer Privacy Portal. (Experian has a Consumer Privacy Portal that allows consumers to submit requests to opt-out, delete, correct, and receive a copy of their data. As the privacy landscape changes and the business needs become more complex the portal needs to adapt to meet the needs of the business. While it is Consumer facing to receive requests, many of the customers are other Experian BUs.)
• Look at the existing functionality, review the list current list of enhancements, develop new requirements based on new regulations, and produce a prioritized roadmap for the development needed.
• Work with the engineering team to ensure the requirements are defined, prioritized, and being developed by the team. Some work will complete during the internship while other work will continue beyond the internship by leveraging the roadmap and direction set by this person.Qualifications
  • Exposure to Big Data, i.e. Hadoop and associated tools preferred
  • Currently enrolled in a minimum of a Bachelor's degree program in computer science or related degree
