Job DescriptionSchedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pmSalary:
$58,000 - $66,000 / yearcommensurate on experience / licensureWe
are seeking a School Based Behavioral Health Clinician to provide
counseling services to adults with psychiatric conditions,
behavioral health disabilities, and substance abuse challenges to
help regain their health. Working in our school based setting,
outpatient clinic or directly in the community, you will strive to
serve people with compassion and respect for their personal
dignity, while maintaining the highest quality of professional
standards.Serving on a multidisciplinary team, the School Based
Behavioral Health Clinician will evaluate persons served,
facilitate group and individual therapy, provide therapeutic
intervention and implement treatment plans and provide all
necessary documentation in medical records, as required by
payers.Additional responsibilities include:Providing clinical
consultation and supervision to team members as neededEnsure
recordkeeping/documentation in accordance with internal and
external requirements (Department of Public Health) and
regulations.May provide consultation and supervision to other
treating clinicians or trainees.Participate in regular Quality
Improvement and Utilization Review activities consistent with the
Behavioral Health Division's policies and practices.Coordinate
treatment and care with other providers as appropriate.Work as
liaison between assigned Vinfen program, state agencies, funding
sources, and community referral sources.Conduct educational
trainings as needed.Perform other related duties, as required.Why

federal mandates, all new employees, interns, and volunteers within
Vinfen's Massachusetts programs will be required to be fully
vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14
days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have
received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna)
with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must
be received within six weeks of hire and the first shot prior to
New Employee Orientation or have an approved exemption for medical
or religious reasons by the first day of employment with Vinfen.2 -
3 years of experience working with adults with persistent
psychiatric conditions or co-occurring disorders.Master's degree in
Social Work, Mental health counseling or appropriate clinical field
required.LCSW, LICSW or LMHC licensure valid in Massachusetts
required. Independent license preferred.CANS Certification
preferred.Bilingual English / Spanish skills strongly
preferred.Strong time management organizational skills, self
motivator, strong writing skills and general computer skills.Must
be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference, and multi-state
background check.Must become CPR, First Aid certified within 2
weeks of employment and CPSS certified within reasonable time
frame. All training is provided upon hire.
