Lowell General Hospital is seeking an experienced MIH
Paramedic.Tufts Medicine Lowell General Hospital's innovative
Mobile Integrated Health program allows our MIH Paramedics to
provide in home care to residents of the Greater Lowell Community!
Our Mobile Integrated Health program and Paramedics allows us to
continue our mission of putting patients first in everything we do
and allow them to receive the best possible care.Each and every
shift you can make a difference to those living in the Greater
Lowell Community!Hours: 36 hours a week, various shifts,
rotating.Duties & Responsibilities:Compliance with performance
improvement clinical benchmarksAvoids substantiated complaints
regarding interpersonal conductComplete records and billing
documentationAvoid hazards, uses safety equipment; is safe.Follows
clinical protocols, plans and medical orders correctlyMaintains
effective scene management/leadership; follows ICSDemonstrates
effective and positive teamwork and initiative during EMS
operations, within the department and the EMS communityWorks
collaboratively and in a professional manner with all physicians,
referring providers, allied health and public safety
personnel.Respond to patient's urgent care needs and provide
assessment, treatments and interface with appropriate clinicians in
the patient's home with the goal of avoiding unnecessary
hospitalization.Assist in emergency department.Participate in the
discharge planning process of selected patients on inpatient units
and in emergency department.Performs home visits (scheduled,
unscheduled, urgent), assessments and treatments according to MIH
protocols and procedures.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience
requiredMust have a valid Massachusetts Driver's LicenseNational
Paramedic CertificateACLS, BLS, and PALS CertifiedPreferred:
Progressive responsibility in Mobile Integrated Health Program or
