Patients requiring peritoneal and hemodialysis, cardiac catheterizations, pacemakers, internal cardiac defibrillator placement, post-operative monitoring, and -interventional radiology may be placed on PCU. - Our patients receive continuous cardiac monitoring, and some may also receive continuous oxygen saturation monitoring. - Patient can be on high flow oxygen, Bi-pap ventilation, and continuous cardiac Intravenous medications. - The nurse patient ratio is less than on the med/surg floors, allowing patients to be more closely monitored. -Hours: 36 hours per week, Evening/Night shifts, every third weekendQualifications: -A minimum of 1-2 years in hospital setting is preferredCurrent RN licensure in the state of MA in good standing are required -BSN is strongly preferred -Associate's degree in nursing may be considered.
