About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Lowell General Hospital. As a PACU RN, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to patients recovering from surgery.Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to surgical patients in the PACU
• Assist with post-anesthesia recovery of patients
• Maintain optimum standards of nursing care and practice during the post-operative phase
• Consult with the operating surgeon and/or anesthesiologist to establish priorities of care for each surgical patient
• Maintain PACU and hospital-related competencies, policies, and proceduresRequirements
  • RN license in Massachusetts required
  • BSN strongly preferred
  • BLS required, ACLS required, PALS/ENPC required or must be obtained upon hire
  • A strong critical care backgroundWork Schedule40 hours per week, Day/Evening shift, Latest until 11:00pm. Flexible hours available.
