Job Summary: The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a registered nurse with oncology-specific clinical knowledge who supports patients, families, and caregivers by removing care barriers and ensuring access to education, treatment, and psychosocial resources throughout the cancer care continuum. Responsibilities: - Coordinate care for oncology patients, including scheduling, assessments, and treatment planning - Provide education to patients and families on chemotherapy and immunotherapy - Support pre-treatment preparation such as labs, testing, and venous access placement - Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with triage, prescriptions, and lab orders - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care from referral to follow-up - Promote a welcoming and professional environment for patients Skills: - Oncology-specific clinical knowledge - Clinical decision-making - Critical thinking - Nursing assessment and symptom management - Effective communication - Multidisciplinary team collaboration - Patient education and support - Care coordination Requirements: - Active MA Registered Nurse license (required) - BSN (required) - AHA - BLS certification (required) - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an oncology setting (preferred; will train) - ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire) - Oncology Nurse Certification (preferred or obtained within 2 years of hire) Application Process:/nPlease submit your resume to ashutosh.kumar@medcadre.com or call/ text 949 620 6144.
