Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Educator - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/10/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Maternity Nurse Educator (NICU / CCN) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse Educator with strong NICU and Continuing Care Nursery (CCN) experience. This role functions as a clinical educator, mentor, change agent, and leader, supporting nursing practice transformation through evidence-based education and adult learning principles. Key Responsibilities - Assess educational needs and analyze clinical practice gaps - Develop measurable learning outcomes and education plans - Design and deliver evidence-based education using adult learning theory - Facilitate a positive learning environment, bridging academia and clinical practice - Evaluate learning effectiveness and revise programs accordingly - Champion scientific inquiry and integrate evidence into nursing practice - Act as a change agent by developing and implementing education programs - Provide leadership in nursing competency development and academic partnerships - Mentor staff and support professional growth and lifelong learning - Participate in committees and professional development initiatives Clinical Focus - NICU / Continuing Care Nursery (CCN) - Advanced maternal-child nursing practice, including: - Fetal monitoring - Cardiac arrhythmia identification - IV medication titration - Pain management (including epidurals) - Managing high-acuity laboring patients - Operating Room experience as circulator and scrub nurse Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing - Active Massachusetts RN License - MSN – Required - BLS (AHA) – Required - NRP & ACLS – Required - ANCC Certification in Nursing Professional Development – Strongly Preferred - NRP Fetal Monitoring Instructor – Preferred - CCN nursing experience required About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
