Portland, Maine, 04102! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath
Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Services
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 36
Guaranteed Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cath Lab and/or
Interventional Radiology License: Registered Nurse (RN)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in cardiac
catheterization procedures - Experience with angiograms and
interventional radiology cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis,
and nephrostomy tube placements - Skills in administration and
recovery of sedation for patients - Proficient in arterial access
recovery - Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Description: An immediate start is needed. Manager interviews will
be conducted. This position requires rotating days from Monday
through Friday with rotating weekend call from 10 AM to 1 PM on
Saturday and Sunday. Experience should be in managing inpatient,
outpatient, and emergency department cases, which will be discussed
during the interview. A RN supervisor will be available on the unit
to oversee the traveler. The charting system utilized is Cerner,
and Pyxis is available for medication management. There is no
floating required to other units. The weekend rotation is once per
month, and RTO approval is required from management. Travelers will
be on call one night per week from 4 PM to 6 PM, and the schedule
will include rotating weekends. Holiday expectations will be
discussed during the interview. Scrub colors for this position will
