Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience and an active NH or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Work in a large, high-tech hospital OR with 26 suites - Performs both inpatient and outpatient procedures - Treats patients across all age groups including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations - Surgical specialties include ENT, general, orthopedics, plastics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic - Offers 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts - On-call requirement of 4-5 shifts per 13-week contract, which could be 12-hour shifts or on-call, day or night - No local candidates will be considered - Care entails scrubbing and circulating in a wide variety of surgical cases - Working in a technologically advanced OR environment - Assignment covers all age groups and a broad spectrum of specialties Requirements - Active NH or compact RN license required and must remain compliant throughout the assignment - Current BLS certification required - Must have recent experience in Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma setting within the past two years - Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-667870.
