ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • 36 guaranteed hours per week • 1:4 weekend rotation required • One overnight trauma call shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM required • Additional call scheduled per specialty team rules (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho) • Minimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience required • Must be competent in robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopies • Comfortable treating patient population from pediatrics to geriatrics • Experience required in general surgery, GU/GYN, ortho trauma, ortho joints, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular procedures • 1:1 patient ratio in 26-bed operating room unit • Work with equipment including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot • Use Epic EMR system • CNOR certification preferred • Teal scrubs issued by hospital • Must demonstrate flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and strong teamwork skills Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Level One Trauma Center providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.
