Job Description:
Encompass Health, a national leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Dietitian for our
in-facility and home-based patient care services. This vital role
involves managing dietetic services to provide nutritional programs
and support to patients while overseeing a team of dietitians and
nutritionists across multiple facilities. As a Lead Dietitian at
Encompass Health, you will enhance patient outcomes by leveraging
cutting-edge nutritional science and leading a team committed to
exceptional care. Oversee the nutritional aspects of patient care
in both facility-based and home-based settings. Develop, implement,
and evaluate nutritional strategies and programs. Lead, mentor, and
supervise a team of dietitians and assistant nutritionists.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
integrated and comprehensive care plans. Conduct ongoing research
to stay current with the latest in nutritional science and
healthcare practices. Manage budgets and forecast resource needs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
concerning health and safety in dietary services. Expertise in
nutritional planning and dietetics Strong leadership and management
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to
mentor and lead a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using dietary and nutrition planning software Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered
Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
credential required. Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC)
preferred.
