Job Description OB/GYN Hospitalist in Hartford, CTPosition Details: - Full-time, permanent - Employed - Providing call coverage and L&D support - Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients - Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department - Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses - Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team - Member of patient safety and quality review committees - Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine - Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology - Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU. We the largest of three sites responsible for the training of the 40 UConn OB-GYN residents - 12 hour and 24 hour shifts available - Teaching/Academic options available Requirements: - Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN - Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut Location:Located within two hours of Boston and New York City, Connecticut offers you and your family access to a lifestyle that is second to none.
