Job Description:

OB/GYN Hospitalist in Hartford, CTPosition Details:

Full-time, permanent
Employed
Providing call coverage and L&D support
Caring for inpatient OB and GYN patients
Providing OB and GYN consultations on the floor and Emergency Department
Overseeing residents, fellows, midwives or advanced practice nurses
Member and leader of the OB Rapid Response Team
Member of patient safety and quality review committees
Implementing quality programs and evidence-based medicine
Extensive support from OB/GYN subspecialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Minimally Invasive Gynecology
Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Level 4 NICU. We the largest of three sites responsible for the training of the 40 UConn OB-GYN residents
12 hour and 24 hour shifts available
Teaching/Academic options available
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
