Join Performance Foodservice, a leader in food distribution across the U.S., and become an integral part of our logistics team as a Loader on the night shift. This position is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of food products and related items. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work effectively during night hours. As a Loader, you will be responsible for loading food and food-related products into delivery vehicles, confirming order accuracy, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment in adherence to company regulations and safety standards. Load and unload food products and supplies safely and efficiently from the warehouse into delivery trucks. Verify each order for accuracy and completeness prior to loading. Use hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from transportation vehicles. Adhere to company safety and operation standards and guidelines. Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring a safe working environment. Report any discrepancies or damages found in the picking orders. Work with team leaders and other staff to optimize the loading process and maximize efficiency. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely. Strong organizational skills to handle tasks efficiently. Attention to detail for verifying order accuracy. Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy lifting. Medical Insurance 401k Forklift Certification preferred but not required.
