Full time Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the incumbent will lead the Business
Human Resources team, made up of Human Resources Business Partners
(HRBP). Acting as a strategic partner, use a combination of human
resources best practices to enable talent and business outcomes.
Take the business strategy, build a corresponding talent
strategy and facilitate the strategy with a team of talented,
business-focused human resources employees. You’ll be responsible
for facilitation of service and consultation to approximately
30,000 employees. Main communication will be with SVPs and C-Level
Workload is primarily leadership and project-based with heavy
emphasis in strategic planning, talent management, organizational
effectiveness and change management. Responsible for a team of
approximately 25 employees.
Position is located at JBHT Corporate Office in Northwest
Arkansas (Lowell). Metro population of approximately 550,000 and
rapidly growing, fueled by three Fortune 500 companies being
headquartered in the area. The region is renowned for its economic
and lifestyle attributes . Cost of living is also 10% below
Sets talent strategy from business strategy and drives execution
through HRBP’s, HR centers of expertise and business leaders.
Hires, develops and engages HRBP staff.
Develops, facilitates, and executes strategic talent project
Consults with internal clients on company policies and human
resources best practices.
Partners with HR centers of expertise to ensure that human
resources core services are delivered effectively and
Advises on and facilitates solutions for common human resources
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or
university and ten years relevant experience; or twelve years
relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or
Master’s degree with emphasis in Human Resources Management or
Human Resources professional certification
Human Resources Business Partner experience
Three years supervisory experience
