Implement equipment PM schedules. Perform or coordinate corrective maintenance efforts on equipment as requireWork closely with the R&D / NPI team to support all new TO-can development activitiesSupport transfer of products to high volume contract manufacturing in AsiaPropose new ways of working by using best practice in processes and technologies.Resolve technical issue that occur on the TO-can assembly linePartner with quality to ensure the product is always of the highest qualityDrive culture of Engineering excellence.Recommend changes to enhance product quality, improve yield and manufacturability, eliminate variation, and reduce cost.Implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes. Streamline processes and eliminate waste by utilizing value engineering, cost saving ideas and failure root cause analysis.Design and implement assembly fixtures, jigs, etc. to be used on this prototype line.Provide product documentation inputs, including BOM mark-ups, and assembly procedures.Train production employees in manufacturing processes and the operation of equipment.Participate in new material qualifications and vendor certifications.RequirementsBS or MS degree in Mechanical or other appropriate engineering discipline with 5+ years in Semiconductor Packaging/Assembly Manufacturing. Knowledge of Optoelectronics Manufacturing is an advantage.Hands on semiconductor assembly experience (eg die attach, wire bonding, cap/lid welding, etc.)Capable of following manufacturing procedures and performing hands on assembly of manufacturing prototypesThorough working knowledge of semiconductor/optoelectronic assembly processes, equipment and materials.Ability to complete multiple projects on schedule with minimal supervision.Structured team-oriented problem-solving skills.Strong hands-on approach to solving problems.Excellent communication skillsSDL2017
