The Architect lead technical teams through multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance to influence technical standards for development, governance, and operational life cycle.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning and delivering design and development in one or more of the following Node js, Express js, Springboot, MuleSoft.
  • The candidate will own reviewing design elements and signing off on the overall technical design.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with the project teams.
  • The candidate must also have experience providing level of effort estimates for technical portion of solutions.Key AccountabilitiesLead technical teams through multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance for API developmentParticipate in all phases of software development life cycle including development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and supportDefine and manage the technology landscape and blueprint for entire solution stackBuild, orchestrate, and deploy complex integration patterns between system, process, and experience layers of APIProvide programming and technical expertise to ensure business solutions are metEnsure consistent best practices, processes, and procedures for software development, quality assurance, and maintenanceIdentify technical risks and opportunities for each productEngage in sprint planning, delivery and managing the releasesWork with Product Development teams to align engineering efforts to business valueInterpret requirements to develop APIs and integrations using Agile methodologyDesign and Implement APIs as per the design specification and National Grid architecture standardsEnsure that code, configurations and other work products are thoroughly unit-tested prior to deliveryPerform code reviews and other quality checks as requestedParticipate in system/integration testing as appropriateSupervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
