We are hiring a Residential Loan Officer who is responsible for
originating 1-4 family residential mortgage loans and generating
and developing new business while providing high quality customer
service to borrowers during the mortgage application process.
Develops and maintains relationships with local realtors, builders,
attorneys and clients to generate and increase the referral flow to
generate new loan growth.
Engages in outside marketing and promotional activities to support
individual mortgage sales by making office visits, making
presentations, attending open houses, frequenting trade shows and
local realtor/trade events.
Promotes and cross sells related bank retail and lending products
Originates and qualifies borrowers for desired mortgage and
consumer loan products within the bank's Comprehensive Lending
Policy, and when applicable, according to Secondary Market and
Manages and maintains loan pipeline.
Assists and maintains contact with borrowers throughout the
application process to ensure a timely and smooth transaction
including answering questions, explanation of documents and
disclosures including; Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, APR,
Commitment Letters to borrowers.
Works closely with processing to ensure loan conditions are being
met timely and accurately and overall pipeline management.
Evaluate and issue pre-qualification letters.
Maintains contact with borrower(s) throughout the application
process to ensure a smooth and timely transaction.
Creates and maintains network of potential outside referral
Demonstrates understanding and compliance with Bank policies and
procedures as well as regulatory guidelines as applicable to the

Minimum of associate's degree with a concentration in business and
minimum of 3+ years of prior mortgage loan generating experience or
applicable combination of both.
Knowledge of all 1-4 family residential and consumer loan products
including investor guidelines and overlays including; secondary
MA & NH Housing, working knowledge of banking industry, trends and
regulations and the ability to read financial data including tax
returns, personal financial statements, credit reports, appraisals
Prior experience with and understanding of Microsoft applications
(Word, Excel and Outlook) and internet based application processes
Valid NMLS registration required. Professional demeanor and
professional maturity required for working closely with customers,
employees, vendors and members of the Board of Directors
