Job Description:
A healthcare provider is filling a position for a Remote
Emergency Department Coder.
Core Responsibilities Include:
Abstracting pertinent information
Ensuring optimal reimbursement
Reviewing physician documentation and assigns ICD-10-CM, CPT, CPT
Modifier, HCPCS, and E&M codes
Position Requirements Include:
Minimum of 3 years of emergency department experience
3+ years of facility outpatient coding experience
Proficiency in multiple EMR's, encoders, and the Microsoft Office
suite
Injections and infusion coding experience
