Job Description:

We encourage you to join our family because LHI is a family friendly workplace.**Job Summary**The House Coordinator is responsible for the household and operational aspects of the program pertinent to maintenance of kitchen duties and daily living functions.**Job Responsibilities: * - Assess and maintain office supply closet to include communication with staff about supply requests (Staples and WB Mason) and submit orders to Program Manager. - Daily medication and mail pick up. - Communication with Lowell House Inc. about safe disposal of trash. - Assess and dispose of Sharps Containers before the container reaching an unsafe level. - Assess and maintain three first aid kits, one in the staff office, in both kitchens. Submit supply request to Program Manager. - Oversee maintenance and safe storage of gas grill. - Oversee bottled water supply and safe storage. - Oversee and report any appliance issues to Program Manager, phone for repair as directed. - Seek out donations from area businesses, i.e., furniture, food, and household supplies. - Maintain and submit mileage sheet to Program Manager every week, attach to the timesheet. - Maintain petty cash account documentation. - Keep a daily log of house manager activities and submit a weekly report to the Program Manager.Overseeing of daily maintenance of the building:* Daily chore checks and follows through of "just do its"* Communication with the Case Managers about day-to-day client chores issues.* Document maintenance requests before submitting to the Program Manager daily.* Oversee special cleaning projects such as the attic and client rooms (remain present at tall times during client room packing).* Assess and maintain janitorial products needed for day-to-day cleaning of the house.* Assess and maintain laundry inventory, fax orders to Angelique, count orders upon arrival to match requests.* Oversee set up of client rooms.1. Overseeing of the kitchen:* Kitchen menu planning meeting to occur weekly* Implementation of agreed upon menus* Organize food list and assist twice-weekly shopping trip; client(s) should attend shopping trip.* Utilize Food Bank weekly.* Oversee safe kitchen practices to include safe storage of groceries.* Participate in daily kitchen duties and special projects (Bank Special Projects, Cookouts, Parties, and Orientation Cooking Projects).*Required education and experience*1. High school diploma or GED2. Food Safety/Serve Safe Certified3.
