We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream. WIN Waste is currently looking for a skilled Compactor Repair Technician. Job Responsibilities:

• Compactor repair and diagnosis -on the road and in the shop
• Pre trip and maintain service truck integrity -communicate defects to shop via dvir daily
• Must be safety conscious and follow all our procedures for lock out tag out - High risk for incident
• Must have complete working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical components. Not limited to, but primarily, Self-Contained VIP, Mini Mac . Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field
  • Ability to work an average of 45 hours a week. Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays
  • Must have Knowledge of high voltage - 208v, 460/480v, & 120v (low)
  • Certification for electric, or compactor repair CERT a major plus
  • Welding/fabrication experience, a major plus
  • Must have clean Driving license & DOT permit 26,000 and under.
  • Must possess ability to weld mild steel, Stick (electrode) Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and also use oxygen acetylene torch.
  • Ability to read electronic diagram, a plus Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
    • Strenuous physical work, to include heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling
    • Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to maintain and supply own personal tools needed to perform essential duties
