General Summary of Position:
The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach two sections of Spanish 1 and Culture starting September 1st, 2022, and also to develop a pool of applicants for openings as they arise.
Under the guidance of the Spanish program coordinator, the ideal candidate will enhance the student's learning experience by integrating a variety of methods and strategies into the teaching process and maintaining a student learning-centered environment. Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• 
  
• M.A. degree or above in Spanish in hand
  
• Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English required
  
• Extensive teaching experience at the college level in lower-division courses using communicative approach in the classroom
