Position Summary:

The Production Technician is responsible for preparing a variety of cannabis products for distribution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Measuring, packaging, and labeling products correctly and as directed.
* Ability to keep accurate counts.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness inside the processing area.
* Work with inventory of bulk and prepackaged products. Set up and stock boxes and other needed supplies and materials to meet production requirements.
* Make sure all labeling and recording of inventory data is done accurately and according to procedures.
* Responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment such as package heat sealer.
* Work efficiently to reduce material waste and eliminate downtime.
* Follow safety procedures and best practices.
* Excellent time-management skills.
* Ability to focus; good attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with management and co-workers.
* Math required for inventory, projections, and measurements.
* Work in a fast-paced environment where changes are made quickly.
* Willingness to accept additional projects or challenges.
* Utilize Management for needed guidance and support.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and federal and state laws.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualification Requirements:

* Previous experience in a hands-on environment with high attention to detail preferred.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Basic math and computer skills.
* Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense, and resourcefulness.
* Attention to detail and ability to focus on one task for extended periods of time.
* Adapts and thrives in a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently throughout a workday with given directives.
* Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
* Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol.
* Daily use of company provided PPE.
* Must be at least 21 years of age.
* Subject to background check per state cannabis regulations.
* Internal candidates must be in their current role 6 months or more for consideration.
