www.mks.com.Job Overview: As the Senior Cybersecurity Cloud
Security Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the
security posture of our cloud-based systems. You will be
responsible for developing and implementing cloud security
strategies, architecting secure cloud solutions, and providing
guidance to ensure that our cloud environments are protected
against emerging cyber threats.Key Responsibilities:Cloud Security
Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy
aligned with industry best practices and regulatory
requirements.
- Stay current with cloud security trends and emerging threats to
continuously enhance the security strategy.Cloud Architecture
Design:
- Design secure cloud architectures and solutions for various
cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and
others.
- Ensure that cloud solutions are designed with security as a
foundational element, considering data protection, identity
management, and network security.Security Compliance:
- Ensure cloud environments comply with relevant security
standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and industry-specific
regulations.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to perform security
assessments and audits.Security Controls Implementation:
- Implement and manage security controls and configurations in
cloud environments to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
- Configure and maintain cloud security tools and solutions for
monitoring and incident response.Cloud Identity and Access
Management (IAM):
- Develop and manage cloud IAM policies, roles, and access
controls to ensure least privilege access and identity management
best practices.Security Awareness and Training:
- Provide guidance and training to cloud operations and
development teams on cloud security best practices.
- Foster a culture of security awareness and compliance within
the organization.Incident Response and Threat Intelligence:
- Develop and maintain cloud incident response plans and
procedures.
- Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to stay informed
about cloud-specific threats and vulnerabilities.Documentation and
Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of cloud security
architectures, policies, and procedures.
- Produce reports and recommendations for management and
stakeholders.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a
related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity with a
focus on cloud security architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and
Google Cloud, and their native security features.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security -
Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Google
- Excellent understanding of cloud security best practices,
identity and access management, network security, and
encryption.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.We are

- Salary Pay Range: $111,900 to $207,900 per year. This range is
a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this
position, based on a wide range of factors including
qualifications, experience and training, operational and business
needs and other considerations permitted by law.At MKS, it is not
typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the
range for the role.
- Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual
bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS (or as
applicable).
