About the role

Working under limited supervision when supporting assigned service calls, applies advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, building systems and equipment, vehicles, and grounds within a geographical area/route potentially across multiple sites.

Monitors building system operations and performance. Applies several trade skills such as welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling. Must be flexible with schedule.

What you'll do

• Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC/R, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
• Coordinates and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC/R, plumbers, and cleaning.
• Performs welding, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Maintains an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum
• Performs assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repairs, and documents as needed.
• Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair. Orders vital materials and supplies to efficiently complete the work order at hand.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
  
  What you'll need
  
  
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Universal EPA License
  • Minimum One Year Plumbing Experience
  • Minimum One Year Electrical Experience
  • Minimum Two Years Commercial HVAC experience

The minimum salary for the Mobile Maintenance Engineer position is or $33.65 per hour and the maximum salary for the Mobile Maintenance Engineer position is or $39.43 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
