  • An array of opportunities for your development Mission:The Vice President, Distribution Sales US will lead the regional teams to attain assigned sales objectives in terms of revenue, growth, and margin goals. Responsible for attaining sales revenue and profitability targets through the regional sales teams, manufacturers' representatives, and distribution channel partners. Establish and communicate the mission of the sales team based on strategic direction and global sales roadmap. Oversee the activities of the regional management team. Establish a culture of sales growth while maintaining performance standards, which emphasize goal setting and performance measurement. Maintain strong relationships with industry leaders and represent Mersen at key industry events.Main Accountabilities:
    • Attain annual sales and profitability budget
    • Manage assigned sales personnel to achieve sales goals and volume
    • Develop and sustain accurate sales forecasts
    • Contribute to the development of annual sales strategy and action plans
    • Maintain/develop superior relationships with customer base
    • Effectively manage Sales Support Funds and Market Development programs/accruals (with Finance)
    • Management of assigned sales department T&E
    • Drive new product and new market initiatives
    • Other assigned dutiesPosition Requirements -
      • BS/BA degree or equivalent, business or engineering degree preferred
      • 5-10 years sales leadership experience
      • 15-20 years' experience in the electrical or adjacent industry
      • Experience managing both direct sales and manufacturers reps
      • Solid leadership and communication skills
